The conference will take place in the newly built educational centre of the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics (B-8 Building) located at AGH-UST Campus, within walking distance to the historical centre of Krakow. The Conference building includes the main aula for up to 300 people that can be divided into two halls for approximately 150 people each, two lecture rooms for up to 50 people, several seminar rooms and foyer with an exhibition area.

The Faculty, the host and one of the conference organizers, educates students in the field of materials science, traditionally associated with manufacturing of ceramics, glass, building materials and refractories, and also in the field of design, processing and testing novel materials for specific applications in different areas of modern industry (e.g. electronics, energy production, aircraft and automobile industries), materials for medicine and environmental protection as well as analytical science and quality control.
